ME2110 Design Competition
Student teams design & build robots to compete in the Design Competition for the ME2110 Creative Decisions & Design course at the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Student teams are evaluated on several aspects of their design by external judges from professional practice during the Design Review, a poster session in which teams present & defend their designs.
The ME2110 Spring 2014 competition will have the largest competition field to date in the course with 70 teams competing. You won't want to miss this major event!
- Project theme for Spring 2014 is “Super Mario Brothers” – an arcade tournament.
- Student teams will design, prototype & field autonomous machines, or vidiots.
- Physical versions of Super Mario Brothers will compete in a video game competition emulating tasks of a video game contest including pushing away Donkey Kong and Bowser, collecting coins, rescuing Princess Peach, collecting a shining star and sending Mario and Luigi to the next level down a green tube.
